Legal Coverage You may purchase (via post-tax payroll deductions) pre-paid legal services from a network of attorneys administered by MetLife Legal. See below for detailed information regarding this legal coverage benefit, including eligible services, premium costs, and contact information. Coverage Information Wide Range of Legal Services By enrolling in legal coverage, you will have access to telephone and office consultations for an unlimited number of personal legal matters with an attorney of your choice. Make an appointment – Call the attorney you select, provide your case number and schedule a time to talk or meet. Meet with your attorney – That's it! There are no copays, deductibles or claims forms when you use a Network Attorney for a covered matter. Eligibility Any State employee that satisfies all of the following criteria is eligible to enroll: Holds a non-seasonal position Scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week Not on leave without pay (LWOP) Enrollment Enrollment periods Employees may enroll in or change their election for legal coverage during one of the following periods: Within 31 days of date of hire or a qualifying status change Open enrollment (the month of November) Employees may cancel their legal coverage benefit only during the annual open enrollment period. Enrollment process To elect or cancel legal coverage, make your election in Workterra during an enrollment period.
