Annual Preventive Exam 2022-2023 Details of the Rewards for Wellness 2022-2023 program will be provided in mid-December - please check back then. If you receive a preventive exam in 2022, you will earn $250 in co-share credits. If you’re married or have a domestic partner, you will earn an additional $250 in co-share credits if they also receive an annual preventive exam in 2022. This is in addition to any co-share credits you may receive for completing the activities in Rewards for Wellness 2022-2023.* Which exams qualify for the incentive? You and/or your spouse must obtain at least one of the following qualifying preventive exams to earn the $250 credit(s): Annual physical exam Annual gynecological exam Prenatal obstetric exam Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island will automatically track your participation through claims activity. Under the Affordable Care Act, preventive services are covered at 100%. You can see the BCBSRI Preventive Services flyer to see what other preventive exams/screenings are recommend for you based on your age and gender. However, to receive the incentive, you must have one of the preventive exams listed above. When will I receive the incentive credits? Credits will be delivered over five consecutive paydays in the second half of 2023 as shown below. If you obtain a qualifying exam, you will receive $50 on each incentive delivery date for a total of $250. If both you and your spouse obtain a qualifying exam, you will receive $100 on each incentive delivery date for a total of $500. September 1, 2023 September 15, 2023 September 29, 2023 October 13, 2023 October 27, 2023 * Only active State of Rhode Island employees who are paying State medical co-share premium payments at the time of the incentive delivery are eligible to receive co-share credits. To receive $250 in credits for a spouse’s annual preventive exam, the spouse must have been covered as a dependent on the employee’s family plan both when they received a qualifying annual preventive exam and when the incentives are paid out.
